Dr. John F. Burd – General PartnerDr. Burd is a co-founder and General Partner of Sabur Technology. Previously Dr. Burd was Founder & CEO of Oculir, developing a remarkable new non-invasive glucose testing technology. Prior to Oculir, Dr. Burd was a General Partner of Windamere Venture Partners and Chairman & CEO of MiraMedica, a company developing computer-aided detection technology for enhanced cancer diagnosis. MiraMedica was sold to Kodak in August 2003. Dr. Burd was previously President & CEO of DexCom, where he directed the company’s work to develop, manufacture and market the first long-term implantable glucose sensor for people with diabetes.
